The Humble Beginning
Kidapawan Doctors Hospital, Inc. (KDHI) is a Level II hospital certified with ISO 9001:2015 and duly registered with Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) with the Diocese of Kidapawan as one of its stockholders. We deliver quality and excellent healthcare services with our 95 authorized bed capacity, top-of-the-line medical equipment and with the expertise of our competent employees both medical and non-medical personnel.
Kidapawan Doctors Hospital also offers comprehensive medical diagnostic and therapeutic services with Tertiary Level Laboratory and Level 2 Radiologic and Ultrasound facilities. In 2011, KDHI is the first hospital to acquire Digital X-ray machine in Region XII and the second in Mindanao. Further, numerous state-of-the-art facilities were acquired to meet clientele’s needs including Digital Mammogram, Anesthesia Machine, Laparoscopy Machine, Phaco Machine, Colposcopy Machine, Digital Mobile X-ray, Ultrasound Machine and other Laboratory machines.
In 2008, due to the increasing cases of kidney problems, KDHI opened its Renal Dialysis Unit with 5 dialysis stations. It was then gradually increased to 12 stations in 2014 and 19 stations in 2016. Last August 2023, RDU was granted to operate 25 dialysis stations. This growth signifies our commitment to provide quality care and services to the patients’ needs.
As employees play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, KDHI always ensure that the hospital staff are manned by fully-trained, board-certified specialists and sub-specialists of their respective fields. In February 2012, KDHI became the First Training Center for Nurses in North Cotabato and Region XII offering Intravenous Therapy and IV Preceptors Training as accredited by the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP). Further, in pursuing for professional advancement, KDHI was granted by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in April 2018 as Continuing Professional Development Training Provider and conducted series of trainings in collaboration with ANSAP. As of writing, the hospital’s renewal for accreditation as CPD Training Provider is still on its way for renewal as we foster professional growth and development among personnel while maintaining compliance as board certified professionals.
Moreover, in January 2024, KDHI was also granted with Accreditation as Clinical Laboratory for Clinical Training Programs of Medical Technology Interns by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Affiliations for Internships are also accepted for other aspiring allied medical professionals, i.e., Nursing, Pharmacy and Radiology. Student and professional researchers are also catered to conduct their study within the hospital premises.
In our quest to achieve unparalleled customer satisfaction, we prioritize both efficiency and consistency in our processes, leveraging technological advancements to streamline operations and ensure seamless delivery of our services. Notably in 1998, KDHI is the 1st hospital in South-central Mindanao to fully computerize its operations through local networking. In 2019, KDHI completely embraced the latest technology of Hospital Information System for fast and accurate transmission of data from patient admission, discharge to transmittal of claims. With the mantra “Discharge now, transmit now”, KDHI was able to innovate the system process not only to promptly response on the needs of the patients, but more importantly on the satisfaction of the employees on the efficiency of the operation and consultants on the efficiency of collection and payment.
Driven by our relentless pursuit of excellence, we’re steadfast in our commitment to realizing the Phase 2 Building construction at Quezon Boulevard, Kidapawan City, propelling us closer to our vision of being the Top Choice Hospital in North Cotabato.
