With a vision to start a private Hospital that would respond to the needs of the common people, 12 Doctors and the Diocese of Kidapawan established the Kidapawan Doctors Hospital Inc. (KDHI), in 1995. Intending to start a Corporation where the stockholders would lead in decision-making, the Hospital was renamed by the Securities and Exchange Commission from being St. Joseph Hospital to Kidapawan Doctors Hospital Inc. On May 28, 1995, KDHI formally opened its operations as a 30-bed Secondary Hospital.
Kidapawan Doctors Hospital Inc. (KDHI), a PHIC accredited tertiary level referral category hospital, delivers quality and excellent health care services with its 150-bed capacity and through its competent 400 employees. The Institution is owned and managed by the Kidapawan Doctors Incorporation, a SEC registered corporation made up of 56 doctors and the Diocese of Kidapawan.
KDHI moves towards our institutional goals as one cohesive entity bound by our strategic direction. Our services, employees, and plans all make unified sense in the context of our Vision, Mission, and Goal – our guiding principles.
